38" x 30," oil painting SOLD The tiny little boat at the base of the mountain is what captured and held my attention. It begged to be painted, and to do and give it the joy I found in it, the whole environment was necessary. The boat itself was a flick of the palette knife.

40" x 32," oil painting, SOLD I spent a summer living anchored out on a sailboat in California. One sunny day I decided to row around the bay and came across this floating house. It was so unique in its shape and texture and how the light accentuated the shade, that I was compelled to paint it. I learned later that at the the time, this shack was inhabited by a couple and large dog that were expecting a baby.

30" x 50," Multi-media, oil and tar. I worked as a painter at this location for a movie that contained alien space craft and Arnold Schwarzneggar. I went back to take a photo for this painting and nearly got arrested for breaking and entry. It was worth it! Available for purchase

20" x 20," oil painting SOLD These tug boats is where my art video (home page), and journey in Squamish began. I sat on the dock and admired their deep tar texture, their weathered presence, and they seemed to ask me to paint them.

40" x 20" I was living near a train yard and paintings at the time became more abstract. I was interested in shape and composition, and saw real beauty in the old crusty surfaces and parts of the trains. Available for purchase

8" x 16," oil on canvas. This tree lived on a high point surrounded by cliff in Hawaii and literally grew into this shape under the wind. I thought it was epic and deserved a painting. Available for purchase

48" x 40," oil painting in thin black metal frame. This gnarled tree lay at the precipice of the Grand Canyon. It reminded me of limbs that were dancing and invited me into the surreal world of the imagination. I painted it on a large canvas to capture the vast feeling of the environment with a sky that tells its own story. Available for purchase

10" x 16," Oil on Board with frame. I was living near a train yard and paintings at the time became more abstract. I was interested in shape and composition, and saw real beauty in the old crusty surfaces and parts of the trains. Available for purchase

48" X 40", oil on gallery canvas. This derelict boat house appealed to me as the background shone through, and reminded me of how a soul comes in through a portal to live a life and then departs through another portal, in and out. The boat house rotted, fell away and was removed. Available for purchase.

32" x 24," oil painting. I biked along the Vancouver sea wall every day and was mesmerized by lighting and color in these beautiful shapes. The imagined process of painting this became an obsession until I was able to complete it and let it go. Available for purchase
Portraits

30" x 36," oil on canvas, painted from life. SOLD I enjoyed the deep shadow created by my father's hat so I painted myself in it, although some people see a soldier. What do you see?

16" x 20," oil on canvas NFS

18" x 24," oil on canvas. This painting has a unique quality. Leif has a unique character and I enjoyed painting him using a photograph of him from his fridge. I had intended to paint a sea with sea gulls behind him but no matter how hard I tried, the old papermill factory came through my brush. I showed it to him and he was angry! He used to live in the box of a train car and woke up to that scenery every day and was so happy to put those days behind him! Available for purchase.

16" x 20," oil on canvas, SOLD I painted my dear friend Zoey in the process of writing her thesis. She felt that this captured her inner feeling so perfectly that she purchased it.
Goddess of Malta

30" x 40," SOLD Oil paint on canvas The temples of Malta are known to date back to 5000 BC. They were first used within the matriarchal culture as sacred temples, aligned with star systems and sun rise. Today, under the roman catholic rule, theses temples are referred to as places where Satin-worshipping witches sacricifed animals. My goal here is to restore respect to the divine feminine by depicting the modern-day goddesses.

20" x 24" oil on canvas, NFS This painting features a temple in Malta. The goddess/feminine form walking out to the Mediterranean sea was unplanned, she appeared through my brush as if by magic.

16" x 20." Diptych, oil on canvas with frame. The tales of the Goddess of Fertility go back to 5000BC when the island of Malta was governed by a matriarchal society. Note how the form of the body of the Goddess resembles the shape of the temple as seen from above. Available for purchase

16" x 20." Diptych, oil on canvas with frame The tales of the Goddess of Fertility and her temples go back to 5000BC when the island of Malta was governed by a matriarchal society. Nobody understands how such large stones were erected but they are placed in alignment with sun and moon rise and the Pleiadean star systems. These temples carry a potent energy that i felt flowing through my body when I visited them. Available for purchase
